DR. AGHA-RAZI

Fereidoun Agha-Razi grew up in Ottawa, Canada; after completing his undergraduate studies at University of Ottawa, moved to attend Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Agha-Razi received his DMD in 1999 and continued to receive his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics in 2001 from Boston University. Dr. Agha-Razi practiced in the Boston area until 2011, when he established Northstar Endodontic Partners in Merrimack, NH. In his free time, Dr. Agha-Razi spends time with family and friends, and enjoys any activity outdoors. 


DR. KATZ

Douglas Katz studied Political Science and received a BA from the University of Maryland. After deciding to become a dentist and not pursue environmental law, prerequisite dental and general science classes were then completed and he was accepted and attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Dental School, now simply known as Rutgers. After earning his DMD, a one-year hospital residency was completed at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Pursuing his passion for endodontics, Dr. Katz attended Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontics, chaired by the prestigious and pioneering endodontist Dr. Herbert Schilder. After receiving his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study, Dr. Katz worked in New Jersey at Mid Jersey Endodontics Group with his father, also an endodontist, for one year before moving to New Hampshire to be closer to the mountains frequented in any spare time. Dr. Katz enjoyed many years of specialty practice in Hooksett as part of the community. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Katz has participated in professional activities with the local and state dental societies, including chair and executive positions, the Veteran’s Administration, local hospitals, and served on the board of Northeast Delta Dental. Recently, Dr.Katz has joined with the Public Health System in New Hampshire to provide endodontic services.

If not wearing a mask and gloves, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with his wife, three daughters, and Labrador retriever. If not with them, he can be found in the backcountry skiing and hiking trails, anywhere on a bicycle, or fishing for native brook trout.
